[:en]Mate Rimac’s business success began in 2006 when he, as a high school student, invented an innovative glove which replaces the keyboard. Today the whole world knows him as a successful entrepreneur who inspires us with his electric cars. The following story proves that Mate also has a big heart.
Four years ago, the editorial board of the 24 sata newspaper gave Mario Dolić, a blind-and-deaf young man, a ride to remember. Although he cannot hear or see, Mario loves cars, knows all the models and their characteristics. The Rimac automobili company lent him a car for his first run. It was the Rimac Ampster, which was then a test electric vehicle, i.e. an Opel car on which Rimac tested the components for his Concept_One. The preparations for the ride lasted four hours and involved the learning of the route rendered in relief, which Mario had studied, remembering the curves, while Mate Rimac, as a co-driver, gave him instructions on where to turn by tapping his arm. Happy and excited, Mario had no fear of driving. He said he knew where he was, what the length of the track was, what the speed was, how much time had elapsed since the previous curve. He was motivated for this adventure by the wish to contribute to the promotion of Croatia and Croatian electric cars in the world.[:hr]Poslovni uspjeh Mate Rimca započinje još 2006. godine, kada je kao srednjoškolac izumio inovativnu rukavicu koja zamjenjuje tipkovnicu. Danas ga cijeli svijet zna kao uspješnog poduzetnika koji je oduševljava svojim električnim automobilima. A da Mate ima i dobro srce, uvjerite se u sljedećoj priči.
Prije četiri godine redakcija 24 sata omogućila je slijepom i gluhom mladiću Mariju Doliću vožnju za pamćenje. Naime, iako ne čuje i ne vidi, Mario obožava automobile, poznaje modele i njihove karakteristike. Auto za njegovu prvu vožnju posudio mu je upravo Mate Rimac. Radilo se o Rimac Ampsteru, tada najnovijem testnom elektromobilu, odnosno automobilu marke Opel na kojem je Rimac testirao komponente za svoj Concept_One. Priprema vožnje trajala je četiri sata, prethodili su joj reljefni nacrti staze koje je Mario proučavao i pamtio zavoje, dok mu je Rimac kao suvozač dodirima davao upute. Sretan i uzbuđen, Mario nije imao strah od vožnje. Kaže da je znao gdje se nalazi, kolika je duljina staze, koja je brzina, koliko je vremena prošlo od prethodnog zavoja. Na ovu avanturu potaknula ga je želja da pridonese promociji Hrvatske i hrvatskog elektromobila u svijetu.
[:de]Geschäftserfolg von Mate Rimac begann noch in 2006, als er als Schüler den innovativen Handschuh erfunden hat, der die Tastatur ersetzt. Heute ist er in der ganzen Welt als der erfolgreiche Unternehmer bekannt, der mit seinen elektrischen Autos fasziniert. Die folgende Geschichte wird Sie überzeugen, dass Mate auch ein gutes Herz hat.
Vor vier Jahren hat die Redaktion von 24 sata dem blinden und tauben Jungen Mario Dolić eine Fahrt zum Erinnern ermöglicht. Obwohl er nicht hört und nicht sieht, Mario liebt Autos über alles, kennt die Modelle und ihre Charakteristiken. Ein Auto für seine erste Fahrt wurde ihm gerade von Mate Rimac geleiht. Es war der Rimac Ampster, damals das neuste Testmodell des Elektroautos, bzw. ein Auto der Marke Opel, worauf Rimac die Komponenten für seinen Concept_One testierte. Die Vorbereitung der Fahrt dauerte vier Stunden, davor studierte Mario die Reliefzeichnungen der Rennstrecke und merkte sich die Kurven, während ihm Rimac als Mitfahrer durch Berührungen die Anweisungen gab. Froh und aufgeregt, Mario hatte keine Angst vor der Fahrt. Er erzählt, dass er wusste, wo er sich befand, wie Lang die Rennstrecke war, die Geschwindigkeit, wie viel Zeit von der vorangehenden Kurve vergangen ist. Zum diesen Abenteuer wurde er durch den Wunsch veranlasst, der Präsentierung Kroatiens und kroatisches Elektroautos in der Welt beizutragen.[:]
