[:en]Next year, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FMENA) in Zagreb, in an area of approximately 740 square meters, a centre for research, development and education in the field of robotic systems will be opened. The project, which is valued at approximately 50 million kunas, will provide the most modern learning and working conditions for scientists, engineers and engineering students and serve as a centre for the development, testing and improvement of advanced applications of robotics in the medical, manufacturing and service sector. The centre is designed as a self-sustaining system that will be financed from research projects and, as such, it will be a unique scientific and technological centre in the wider region.
The head of the Institute for Robotics and Automation of Manufacturing Systems at the FMENA, Professor Bojan Jerbić, emphasizes that there are already robots on the market that do housework (e.g. vacuuming), but also that the future brings a new era of household robots that will be able to look after pets and even children, because of the new system of developed cognitive activities. Of particular significance will be the laboratory for human robotics, which will explore intelligent robot behaviour.
The first phase of the project is the preparation of technical documentation by the 28th of June this year, followed by a response to the call and the preparation of documentation for funding in the amount of EUR 3.7 million from EU infrastructural funds for regional development. Most of the money is intended for purchasing top-quality robotic equipment.
The permanent staff includes 20 people and at there are at least 20 more external associates. The greatest interest for the centre, which will be open to the public, was shown by our Slovenian neighbours, who have more robots than Croatia.
As part of its open day, the centre will be promoted to the public, helping Croatia to slowly enter the fourth industrial revolution (a combination of technologies from across the physical, digital and biological spheres). In the new revolution, as machine replace humans in many routine tasks, a certain number of jobs will be left to the robots and artificial intelligence. The reduction of available positions is expected to occur in the health care, energy and finance sectors, whereas only the most creative jobs will be left to humans. This scenario can be expected by 2050, when the loss of approximately 46 million jobs in the production of material goods is predicted.[:hr]Na Fakultetu strojarstva i brodogradnje (FSB) u Zagrebu, na oko 740 četvornih metara, iduće se godine otvara centar za istraživanje, razvoj i obrazovanje u području robotskih sustava. Projekt koji „teži“ oko 50 milijuna kuna osigurat će najmodernije radne i obrazovne uvjete za znanstvenike, studente strojarstva i inženjere te će služiti kao centar za razvoj, ispitivanje i usavršavanje naprednih robotskih primjena u medicini, proizvodnji i uslužnim djelatnostima. Centar je zamišljen kao samoodrživi sustav koji će se financirati iz istraživačkih projekata i kao takav biti jedinstven znanstveno-tehnološki centar na širem području regije.
Voditelj Zavoda za robotiku i automatizaciju proizvodnih sustava FSB-a, profesor Bojan Jerbić, naglašava da na tržištu već postoje roboti koji rade kućanske poslove (npr. usisavaju prašinu), no kaže da budućnost donosi novu eru kućnih robota koji će moći čuvati kućne ljubimce, pa čak i djecu, zbog novih sustava razvijenih kognitivnih aktivnosti. Posebno atraktivan bit će i laboratorij za humanu robotiku unutar kojeg će se istraživati inteligentno robotsko ponašanje.
Prva faza projekta je izrada tehničke dokumentacije do 28. lipnja 2016. godine a potom slijedi odgovor na poziv i priprema dokumentacije za financiranje u iznosu od 3,7 milijuna eura iz infrastrukturnih fondova EU-a za regionalni razvoj. Najveći dio novca namijenjen je za vrhunsku robotsku opremu.
Stalno zaposleni činili bi brojku od 20, a još bi toliko bilo vanjskih suradnika. Najveći interes za centar, koji će biti otvoren i za javnost, pokazali su naši susjedi Slovenci, koji pak imaju veći broj robota od Hrvatske.
U sklopu dana otvorenih vrata centar će se promovirati u javnosti te pomoći Hrvatskoj da polako uđe u četvrtu industrijsku revoluciju (spoj tehnologija diljem fizičkog, digitalnog i biološkog svijeta). U novoj revoluciji strojevi će zamijeniti ljude u mnogim rutinskim poslovima, ustupajući tako određeni broj radnih mjesta robotima i umjetnoj inteligenciji. Očekuje se smanjenje poslova u zdravstvu, energetici i financijama dok će samo najkreativniji poslovi ostati ljudima. Ovakav scenarij možemo očekivati do 2050. godine kada se očekuje gubitak od oko 46 milijuna radnih mjesta u proizvodnji materijalnih dobara.[:de]Nächstes Jahr wird an der Fakultät für Maschinenbau und Schiffbau (FSB) in Zagreb, auf etwa 740 Quadratmeter, ein Zentrum für Forschung, Entwicklung und Ausbildung auf dem Gebiet der Robotersysteme geöffnet. Das Projekt, das ca. 50 Millionen Kuna wert ist, wird die modernsten Lern- und Arbeitsbedingungen für Wissenschaftler, Ingenieure und Studenten der Ingenieurwissenschaften bieten und wird als Zentrum für die Entwicklung, Prüfung und Verfeinerung fortschrittlicher Roboteranwendungen in der Medizin, Produktion und Dienstleistungsbereichen dienen. Das Zentrum ist als ein selbsterhaltendes System konzipiert, der sich aus Forschungsprojekten finanziert, und wird als solcher ein einzigartiges wissenschaftliches und technologisches Zentrum in der weiteren Umgebung der Region sein.
Der Leiter des Instituts für Robotik und Automation von Fertigungssystemen der FSB, Professor Bojan Jerbić, betont, dass es auf dem Markt bereits Roboter gibt, die Hausarbeiten machen (z. B. Staub saugen), sagt aber, dass die Zukunft eine neue Ära der Haushaltsroboter bringt, die dank neuen Systemen mit entwickelten kognitiven Aktivitäten in der Lage sein werden, Haustiere und sogar Kinder zu babysitten. Besonders attraktiv wird das Labor für die menschliche Robotik sein, in dem intelligentes Roboter-Verhalten erforscht wird.
Die erste Phase des Projekts ist die Erstellung technischer Dokumentation bis zum 28. Juni 2016, gefolgt vom Angebot und der Vorbereitung der Dokumentation für die Finanzierung in der Höhe von 3,7 Millionen EUR aus Europäischen Infrastrukturfonds für regionale Entwicklung. Der Großteil des Geldes ist für die erstklassige Roboterausrüstung gedacht.
Das Zentrum würde 20 Festangestellte und 20 externe Mitarbeiter haben. Das größte Interesse am Zentrum haben unsere slowenischen Nachbarn gezeigt, die wiederum eine größere Anzahl der Roboter haben als Kroatien.
Während der Tage der offenen Tür wird sich das Zentrum der Öffentlichkeit vorstellen und Kroatien helfen, sich langsam der vierten industriellen Revolution (Verbindung von Technologien aus der ganzen physischen, digitalen und biologischen Welt) anzuschließen. In der neuen Revolution werden die Maschinen bei vielen Routinetätigkeiten die Menschen ersetzen, und damit wird eine Menge an Arbeitsplätzen den Robotern und der künstlichen Intelligenz überlassen werden. Der Abbau von Jobs in der Gesundheitsfürsorge, Energiewirtschaft und Finanzen kann erwartet werden, während nur die kreativsten Jobs für Menschen bleiben werden. Ein solches Szenario kann bis 2050 erwartet werden, wenn der Verlust von gegen 46 Millionen Arbeitsplätzen in der Herstellung materieller Güter erwartet wird.
