The current law guarantees to local and regional governments an important role in the management, organization and direct provision of public services to citizens and entrepreneurs. The decentralization of the country could have a positive impact to the economy.

[:hr]Ovo je jedna izvrsna godina za Primorsko-goransku županiju u kojoj su ukupni prihodi tvrtki bili 9,5% veći, izvoz je porastao za petinu, a ostvaren je pozitivni trgovinski saldo u odnosu na uvoz od 9,3 milijarde kuna. Najbolji poduzetnici i dobitnici Zlatne kune su Montelektro, Olivari i Brodogradilište Viktor Lenac.
Oporavku i rastu BDP-a značajno je pridonio doprinos regionalnog gospodarstva i naših poduzetnika. Primorsko-goranska županija danas je među tri najuspješnija regionalna gospodarstva u zemlji. Najznačajnije djelatnosti županije su prerađivačka industrija, građevinarstvo, trgovina, prijevoz, skladištenje, smještaj, stručne, znanstvene i tehničke djelatnosti. Broj zaposlenih u odnosu na 2015. godinu povećan je 4,5% a ukupna dobit povećana je za 1,1 milijardu kuna. Ulaganja u nove investicije iznosila su 2,6 milijardi kuna.
Kao velika investicijska šansa naglašena je izgradnja LNG terminala i ulaganje u Riječki prometni pravac, KBC, odnosno cestovna infrastruktura prema sjeveru i jugu Hrvatske, Zračne luke rijeka…
Ono što u našem gospodarstvu zapinje su nekompetentnost, neznanje i neodgovornost u javnoj upravi a politike se ne mogu uspješno provoditi bez jakog i stručnog administrativnog aparata. Sadašnji zakon jamči jedinicama lokalne i regionalne samouprave važnu ulogu u upravljanju, organizaciji i izravnom pružanju javnih usluga građanima i poduzetnicima. Decentralizacija države bi mogla pozitivno utjecati na gospodarstvo.
Priznanja za značajna ulaganja dobili su Jadranka hoteli s Malog Lošinja, najuspješniji izvoznik je Luka Rijeka dok je priznanje za doprinos zaštiti okoliša pripao tvrtki Ind-Eko iz Rijeke. Priznanje za uspješno poslovanje pripalo je Jadranskim vratima a priznanje za komercijalizaciju inovacija otišlo je Euromodul tvrtki s Viškova. Tvrtka Metis iz Kukuljanova dobila je priznanje za poseban doprinos zbrinjavanju i gospodarenju otpadom dok je priznanje za značajan porast pokazatelja poslovanja pripalo je tvrtkama Orada Adriatic s Cresa i Montcommerce iz Kukuljanova. Najuspješnije poduzetnica je Katica Hauptfeld a priznanje za životno djelo dobio je Josip Brkić.

Erholung und BIP-Wachstum trugen wesentlich zum Beitrag der regionalen Wirtschaft und unserer Unternehmer bei. Die Grafschaft Primorje-Gorski Kotar gehört heute den drei erfolgreichsten regionalen Volkswirtschaften des Landes. Die wichtigsten Aktivitäten der Grafschaft sind die verarbeitende Industrie, Bau, Handel, Transport, Lagerung, Unterkunft, professionelle, wissenschaftliche und technische Tätigkeiten. Die Zahl der Mitarbeiter im Vergleich zum Jahr 2015. stieg um 4,5% und der Gesamtgewinn stieg um 1,1 Mrd. Kuna. Die Investitionen in neue Projekte beliefen sich auf 2,6 Milliarden Kuna.
Als große Investitionsmöglichkeit ist der Bau des LNG-Terminals und Investitionen in Rijeka Verkehrswege, KBC und Straßeninfrastruktur im Norden und Süden von Kroatien, Flughafen Rijeka… hervorgehoben.
Was in unserer Wirtschaft steckt, ist Inkompetenz, Unwissenheit und Verantwortungslosigkeit in der öffentlichen Verwaltung, und Politik kann nicht ohne einen starken und professionellen Verwaltungsapparat erfolgreich umgesetzt werden. Das derzeitige Gesetz garantiert den lokalen und regionalen Gebietskörperschaften eine wichtige Rolle bei der Verwaltung, Organisation und direkten Bereitstellung öffentlicher Dienstleistungen für Bürger und Unternehmer. Die Dezentralisierung des Landes könnte sich positiv auf die Wirtschaft auswirken.
Die Auszeichnungen für bedeutende Investitionen hat Jadranka Hotels aus Mali Lošinj erhalten, der erfolgreichste Exporteur ist der Hafen von Rijeka und der Preis für den Beitrag zum Umweltschutz ging an die Firma Ind-Eko aus Rijeka.
