[:en]First Croatian bolid called the Phoenix is the work of young professionals and students of the Technical Faculty from Rijeka who were working on it for two seasons. The most time they spent on developing, experimenting and testing of materials. It is a bolid RRC4, first with the aerodynamic package in history. It use the carbon fibers in order to reduce weight, and instead of steel is used aluminum. It can achieve speeds of up to 230 km / h. The goal of the team led by Matija Prpovićem is competition on the world Formula Student competitions that bring together over 50,000 people. At this yearmost respected student project in Hungary the team from Rijeka was the only one Croatian competitive team. He competed under the name Riteh Racing Team and took 23rd place while in the endurance race bolid achieved 17.mjesto. The competition is supported by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. This team of future engineers won 2010. third place for the preliminary design, the first place in the category of the most economical construction in Germany at Hockenheim, for the differential bolide 2nd place at the Invention Fair in London and 33rd place at FS competition at Silverstone in England.
Their second bolid they presented in 2011. in Hungary, where they took 28.mjesto. Entrepreneurs and artisans praise them, support and sponsor.
[:hr]Prvi hrvatski bolid nazvan je Phoenix a djelo je mladih stručnjaka i studenata Tehničkog fakulteta iz Rijeke koji su na njemu radili dvije sezone. Najviše vremena utrošili su na razvijanje, eksperimentiranje i testiranje materijala. Radi se o bolidu RRC4, prvom s aerodinamičnim paketom u povijesti. Koristi se ugljičnim vlaknima radi smanjenja mase, a umjesto čelika koristi se aluminij. Može postići brzinu i do 230 km/h. Cilj tima na čelu s Matijom Prpovićem je natjecanje na svjetskim Formula Student natjecanjima koji okupljaju preko 50 000 ljudi. Na ovogodišnjem najcjenjenijem studentskom projektu u Mađarskoj riječki tim bio je jedini hrvatski natjecateljski tim. Natjecao se pod nazivom Riteh Racing Team i zauzeo 23. mjesto dok je u utrci izdržljivosti bolid postigao 17.mjesto. Natjecanje je podržano od strane Instituta inženjera strojarstva. Ovaj tim budućih inženjera osvojio je 2010. godine 3. mjesto za idejni projekt, 1. mjesto u kategoriji najekonomičnije konstrukcije u Njemačkoj na stazi Hockenheim, za diferencijal bolida 2.mjesto na Sajmu inovacija u Londonu te 33. mjesto na natjecanju FS Silverstone u Engleskoj.
Svoj drugi bolid predstavili su 2011. u Mađarskoj gdje su zauzeli 28.mjesto. Poduzetnici i obrtnici ih hvale, podržavaju i sponzoriraju.
[:de]Erste kroatische Bolid genannt Phoenix ist die Arbeit von jungen Profis und Studenten der Technischen Fakultät aus Rijeka, die daran arbeiteten für zwei Jahreszeiten. Die meiste Zeit verbrachten sie für die Entwicklung, das Experimentieren und das Testen von Materialien. Es ist ein bolid RRC4, erste mit dem aerodynamischen Paket in der Geschichte. Es verwendet die Kohlenstoff-Fasern, um Gewicht zu reduzieren, und anstelle von Stahl Aluminium verwendet ist. Es kann Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 230 km / h erreichen.
