[:en]The Iskon telecom operator’s new offer on the domestic market is Iskon.Smarthome, a set of interconnected devices that control the conditions in the home. The devices measure humidity, temperature, power consumption, as well as react to movement, switch electronic devices on and off and monitor the events in each room through video surveillance.
Iskon.Smarthome is available to everyone, regardless of the operator. The system is operated by means of a central unit used to connect all the other sensors and enabling control via a mobile or web application. The set consists of four sensors and three devices installed in a home or an office. These are the micro-climate and movement sensors integrated into a single device, a smart socket which turns devices on and off and measures power consumption, and a video-surveillance camera which monitors events in the home or the office. The devices are easy to install and the system is intuitively designed and enables easy operation.
The basic set of sensors (except for D-Link cameras) has been developed in cooperation with the domestic IT company Smart Sense and the product designer Maša Vukmanović. Smart Sense is developing its own platform Internet of Things and specializes in the development of hardware and software in the area of IoT and SmartCity solutions. In the future, it there is a possibility of pairing the central unit with the smart devices by other manufacturers. Thus, the Iskon.Smarthome application will enable the creation of ambient lighting and the turning on and off of smart Osram bulbs.
The application is available for Android and iOS and it can also be operated via the Web at smarthome.iskon.hr.
What is surprising is the relatively low cost of service packages, that is, the so-called early bird price of 1100 kuna. The offer lasts until 1 July or until the stocks are exhausted. Customers who choose to purchase the device through the Web shop can get a discount of up to 1000 kuna upon signing a new contract or upgrading their telecommunication services at Iskon. The individual sensors are also available from the Iskon online store. Iskon.Smarthome mogu koristiti svi, bez obzira na operatera. Komplet čine četiri senzora, odnosno tri uređaja koji se postavljaju u stanu ili uredu. Osnovni komplet senzora (osim D-Link kamere) razvijen je s domaćom IT tvrtkom Smart Sense te dizajnericom proizvoda Mašom Vukmanović. Smart Sense razvija vlastitu platformu Internet of Things te se specijalizira za razvoj hardvera i softvera u području IoT i SmartCity rješenja. U budućnosti je moguće i uparivanje centralne jedinice s pametnim uređajima drugih proizvođača. Tako će se uz pomoć aplikacije Iskon.Smarthome moći kreirati ambijentalna rasvjeta i paliti i gasiti pametne Osram žarulje.

Ono što iznenađuje je relativno niska cijena paketa usluga, tzv. early bird cijena, od 1.100 kuna. Ponuda traje do 1. srpnja ili do isteka zaliha.
