[:en]Croatian Telecom, in collaboration with Nokia presented new technologies that will enable higher speeds of surfing already from the next year!
LTE-A Pro and G.fast have a data transfer speed of more than 1 GB per second. LTE Advanced Pro enables to download data up to 4x faster speeds than the current maximal in Croatia while upgrade of the network will be up to 5G network. From HT, at the presentation of the system they have announced that it could be at the market in two years.
With G.fast technology it is possible to achieve speeds comparable with the optics (500 Mpbs to 1 GBps) and opens the potential for cheaper and faster development of ultra fast Internet where optics is not fully available. G.fast device can be installed in the building but it is not necessary to stretch its installation up to the user. This solution is expected in 2017.

LTE-A Pro i G.fast imaju brzinu prijenosa podataka većim od 1 GB u sekundi. Uz optičke mreže preko bakrene infrastrukture omogućuju gigabitne brzine i u domovima. LTE Advanced Pro omogućuje preuzimanje podataka do 4x većim brzinama od sadašnjih maksimalnih u Hrvatskoj dok će nadogradnja mreže biti korak do 5G mreža. Iz HT-a su ipak na predstavljanju sustava najavili da bi on na tržištu mogao zaživjeti tek za dvije godine.
S G.fast tehnologijom moguće je postići brzine usporedive s optikom (od 500 Mpbs do 1 GBps) a otvara potencijal za jeftiniji i brži razvoj ultrabrzog Interneta gdje optika nije potpuno dostupna. G.fast uređaj se može postaviti u zgradu ali nije potrebno razvlačiti njegove instalacije do korisnika. Ovo se rješenje očekuje 2017. godine.

Mit G.fast Technologie ist es möglich, Geschwindigkeiten vergleichbar mit Optik (500 Mbps bis 1 Gbps) zu erreichen und eröffnet das Potenzial für eine billigere und schnellere Entwicklung für ultra-schnelle Internet, wo Optik nicht vollständig verfügbar ist.
