[:en]Working with a desire to create an ecological and unique product, Zoran Zagrajski, an innovator from Koprivnica, made the world’s first wooden computer. His goal was to create a small personalised computer which would be aesthetically appealing, functional and affordable. Naturally, the computer is not entirely made from wood; only the plastic case has been replaced by a wooden one, while the other components are made from carefully selected materials, in order to ensure flawless operation. What is also unique about this computer, apart from its material, is its low energy consumption and high performance. It is the only computer of this kind in Croatia and, as such, it is certified.
What is most interesting about this product is that it saves electricity, to such an extent that the calculations have shown that the companies using it could save, on an annual basis, several tens of thousands of kunas. One computer takes approximately an hour and a half to make.[:hr]Koprivnički inovator Zoran Zagrajski proizveo je prvo drveno računalo na svijetu, nastalo u želji za ekološki osviještenim proizvodom i unikatnošću. Cilj mu je bio stvoriti malo personalizirano računalo koje će biti estetski privlačno, funkcionalno i financijski dostupno. Naravno, nije cijelo računalo napravljeno od drveta, već je plastično kućište samo zamijenjeno drvenim, a ostale su komponente od pomno biranih materijala, kako bi sve moglo raditi besprijekorno. Osim po materijalu, ovo se računalo ističe po maloj potrošnji energije i visokim performancama. Ono je jedino računalo takvog tipa u Hrvatskoj i kao takvo je i certificirano.
Ono što je najzanimljivije kod ovog proizvoda je činjenica da štedi struju, i to u takvoj mjeri da izračuni pokazuju kako bi firme, koristeći ovo računalo, na godišnjoj razini mogle uštedjeti i nekoliko desetaka tisuća kuna. Za proizvodnju jednog računala potrebno je otprilike sat i pol vremena.[:de]Der Koprivnica Innovator Zoran Zagrajski hat den ersten hölzernen Rechner in der Welt hergestellt, der aus dem Wunsch nach einem ökologisch bewussten Produkt und nach Einzigartigkeit entstanden ist. Sein Ziel war es, einen kleinen personalisierten Rechner zu schaffen, der ästhetisch attraktiv, funktionsfähig und finanziell zugänglich ist. Natürlich ist nicht der ganze Rechner aus Holz gemacht, sondern wurde nur das Kunststoffgehäuse mit einem hölzernen Gehäuse ausgetauscht, und die übrigen Bestandteile sind vom sorgfältig ausgewählten Material, damit alles makellos funktionieren kann. Dieser Rechner zeichnet sich, außer durch das Material, auch durch einen geringen Energieverbrauch und durch hohe Leistung aus. Dieser Rechner ist der einzige seiner Art in Kroatien und wurde als solcher zertifiziert.[:]
