The unity and harmony of the 16 lakes and their rare natural and cultural value is not only famous throughout Croatia, but also worldwide. This remarkable national park desetved it’s a coveted place on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage sites. Arriving at Plitvice, we’ll walk through wooden paths led by our experienced guide. The path takes you across Gornja Jezera (Upper Lakes), and then it’s time for a magical boat ride within the sound of the waterfalls to Donja Jezera (Lower Lakes). Wherever you are in Plitivice’s it’s easy to see why its formations are such an extraordinary natural phenomenon. The barriers, sills and other forms created in these lakes, karst rivers and streams is still an ongoing process that shapes the wonderful landscapes that make your walk through the park so enjoyable. Its these same travertine formations that have and are still creating the numerous magnificent waterfalls here. Over time, the water changes its course, leaving some barriers dry as it deposits new layers elsewhere. This constant evolution makes the Plitvice Lakes never look the same. The best way to actually see this happening is when you are standing in front of the Great fall, 78 meters high, The roaring thunder of the water as it hits the ground is unforgettable!
Our journey ends with a train ride. Afterward, we suggest walking to a nearby local tavern for an optional lunch to try some national specialties or pack a picnic and find a spot in the shade to savor the view. After a memorable day in such spectacular forests and lakes we will return to Split and Trogir, still excited and full of lasting impressions.

Beside a camera here are few items you may need to make your time on the excursion the better are comfortable walking shoes. Bring with you something to eat or you can buy it there. After summer time we recommend to bring also a warm sweater and to wear closed comfortable shoes.

Ovaj izvanredan Nacionalni park zaslužio je prestižno mjesto na UNESCO-vom popisu svjetske baštine. Dolaskom na Plitvice, provesti ćemo vas drvenim stazama pod vodstvom našeg iskusnog vodiča. Put vodi preko Gornjih Jezera, a onda je vrijeme za čarobnu vožnju brodom prema vodopadima u Donjim Jezerima. Gdje god da se nalazite na Plitvicama lako možete vidjeti zašto su njegove formacije izuzetan prirodni fenomen. Barijere, pragovi i drugi oblici stvoreni u tim jezerima, krškim rijeka i potocima nastavljaju svoj proces oblikovanja prekrasnih krajolika koji čine šetnju kroz park tako ugodnom. Njegove sedrene tvorevine i dalje stvaraju brojne veličanstvene slapove. Tijekom vremena, voda mijenja svoj tok ostavljajući neke barijere suhe. Zbog te stalne evolucije Plitvička jezera nikad ne izgledaju isto.
Naše putovanje završava vožnjom vlakom. Nakon toga, predlažemo šetnju do obližnje lokalne konobe kako bi za ručak isprobali neke nacionalne specijalitete ili ponesite nešto i pronađite mjesto u hladu te uživajte u pogledu. Nakon nezaboravnog dana u plitvičkim spektakularnim šumama i jezerima vratit ćemo se u hotel Medenu.

Nachdem wir an die Plitvicer Seen gekommen sind, werden Sie vom unseren erfahrenen Reiseleiter die Holzstege entlang geleitet werden. Der Weg läuft über die Oberen Seen, und danach ist es Zeit für die traumhafte Schifffahrt nach den Wasserfällen in den Unteren Seen. Wo auch immer Sie sich an der Plitvicer Seen befinden, können Sie leicht sehen, warum ihre Gebilde ein außergewöhnliches Naturphänomen sind. Barrieren, Schwellen und andere Gebilde, die in diesen Seen, Flüssen und Bächen erzeugt werden, setzen ihr Prozess der Gestaltung von wunderschönen Landschaften fort, die den Spaziergang durch den Park so gemütlich machen. Unsere Reise endet mit der Bahnfahrt. Danach, schlagen wir einen Spaziergang bis zur benachbarten lokalen Konoba vor, um dort zum Mittagessen einige nationale Spezialitäten auszuprobieren, oder nehmen Sie etwas mit und finden Sie sich einen Platz im Schatten und genießen Sie den Blick. Nach dem unvergesslichen Tag in den spektakulären Wäldern und an den spektakulären Seen der Plitvice, kehren wir nach dem Hotel Medena zurück.
