[:en]Smart Parking Barrier is invention of four young engineers and is managed by mobile applications. It is a system for the reservation of public and renting a parking space, which was declared at this year’s Entrepreneurial Camp in Solin as the best. Its inventors are engineers of Computer Science Marko Smoljo, Karlo Gašpar and Dario Boras, and student of electronics Josip Labrović. The guys are working under a joint company Amplifico that was founded two years ago in Split.
As already mentioned, the system is controlled by the application, and keys for managing can be sent to others. In practice, it looks like this: parking barrier is installed at the place for parking and driver downloads the application. In application should be listed all free parking spaces which you can choose and book in real time.
The barrier is actually a metal housing dimensions 45×45 cm, consists of a mechanism of solar panels that power the entire circuit and rechargeable batteries, and includes Bluetooth that connects the application and the device. The application will be free of charge while the price of one barrier will amount to 2000 kuna. Price of parking depends on the owner of parking, or whether it is a private owner or the city of Split.
The project also has a social aspect. The guys customized application also for disabled people who will be allowed to park at places for disabled.
Double benefit of this parking barrier is reflected in the ownership of private parking space in front of own home, that can be rented and monetise while you are, for example, at work. All you need is to buy a barrier and set is on your private property or parking space.
The company will realize income from the own invention by selling the barrier as well as each transaction for reservation of parking. The system is installed on existing parking solutions, and there are already interested buyers. The prototype created company Marana on Klis, with which guys are hoping to run mass production.

Radi se o sustavu za rezerviranje javnog i iznajmljivanje parkirnog mjesta, koji je proglašen na ovogodišnjem Poduzetničkom kampu u Solinu kao najbolji. Njegovi inovatori su inženjeri računarstva Marko Smoljo, Karlo Gašpar i Dario Boras te student elektronike Josip Labrović. Dečki djeluju pod zajedničkom tvrtkom Amplifico koju su osnovali prije dvije godine u Splitu.

Projekt ima i sociološki aspekt. Naime, dečki su aplikaciju prilagodili i hendikepirani osobama koja će dobiti dozvolu da može parkirati na mjestima za invalide.
