Axios has published research in which for the majority of Internet traffic, contrary to common belief, people are not responsible at all, than the various bots. Bots are software applications that perform automated tasks on the Internet, and in this research are classified into good and bad.
Good bots monitor and improve content on the Internet, like those used by Google in order to improve search and organization of content on the Internet, while bad bots those who steal content from sites, create spam or carrying out attacks with the aim of bringing down websites. Research has shown that bad bots advertisers cost 7 billion dollars.
