[:en]There is a low number of people who have not heard about Mate Rimac, a young entrepreneur who had his passion for cars turned into business world-wide. His company Rimac cars last year raised the income from 10.5 to 31.3 million kuna, the number of employees increased from 33 to 80 employees, and net profit reached 1.7 million kuna. The public had met him already in the high school with his first patented invention iGlove, winning the Golden Tesla’s egg in 2006. The company was founded in 2009. with the intention to produce the most prosperous electric cars in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

His electronic car Concept One was presented at the fair in Frankfurt and in 2013. the first copy was delivered, that was also the first car which Croatia produced and exported.<\/span><\/p>\n

The company Rimac cars with their own cars develops also prototypes for other car companies, produces batteries for wheelchairs, electric bicycles, and is currently in the phase of construction of the largest battery ever for the ferry that will sail in the northern Europe. Javnost ga je upoznala jo\u0161 kao srednjo\u0161kolca sa svojim prvim patentiranim izumom iGlove osvojiv\u0161i 2006. Zlatno Teslino jaje. Tvrtku je osnovao 2009. s namjerom da proizvodi najnaprednije elektri\u010dne automobile na svijetu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Zbog novih investicija u firmu, postoji mogu\u0107nost da se sjedi\u0161te tvrtke prebaci u inozemstvo dok \u0107e proizvodnja i razvoj i dalje biti u Hrvatskoj.<\/span><\/p>\n
