The technological solution that allows energy renovation of building envelopes is the ECO-SANDWICH\u00a0facade system, the only one that contains recycled construction waste and demolition waste. It is a\u00a0result of cooperation between the Croatian scientific institutions (The Faculty of Civil Engineering and\u00a0the Faculty of Architecture) and the industry (Beton Lu\u010dko d.o.o., Knauf Insulation d.o.o. and EURCO\u00a0d.d.). These innovative panels are improved versions of existing precast wall panels, allowing rapid\u00a0and high-quality construction of low-energy buildings.\u00a0Due to its great potential for recycling and reuse, construction waste has been recognized by the\u00a0European Commission as one of the priority problems to solve. The ECO-SANDWICH developed as a\u00a0response to the contemporary construction processes, in which the existing buildings represent a\u00a0large potential for reducing current energy consumption, and to the fact that there are a number of\u00a0buildings that have none or minimal thermal protection.<\/p>\n
ECO-SANDWICH consists of two layers of concrete interconnected with lattice girders of stainless\u00a0steel. The inner supporting layer of concrete is made of recycled concrete joints, while the external\u00a0facade layer is made of recycled brick, as concrete aggregate. ECOSE mineral wool, supplied by Knauf\u00a0Insulation d.o.o., was used as thermal insulation material, with natural resins as a binder. A special\u00a0feature of the panel is that it has a 4-cm thick ventilation layer of air between the mineral wool and\u00a0the outer layer, preventing the dampening of the insulation material. The inner layer of concrete is\u00a0connected to the support structure of the building by a system of stainless steel connections.<\/p>\n
The panels are manufactured in entirety in factories, under controlled conditions, by which the\u00a0quality and safety of products is achieved, and thanks to their heat flow coefficient, they comply with\u00a0the most stringent energy standards for rapid construction of low-energy buildings and the\u00a0renovation of the existing ones. The system has been tested before its placement on the market and\u00a0got a CE marking.<\/p>\n
The city of Koprivnica and several companies from Serbia and Montenegro have shown the greatest\u00a0interest in the panels, and inquiries are coming in from France as well.\u00a0The ECO-SANDWICH system also received a number of awards, such as the GREENOVATION award\u00a0for “Best team of the Croatian green economy”, the INOVA gold medal and award for best ecological\u00a0innovation in 2013 in Zagreb and in 2014 in Brussels, which assured the recognition of the innovation\u00a0on the European market.<\/p>\n

Sustav ECO-SANDWICH\u00a0razvio se i kao odgovor na suvremene procese gradnje u kojima postoje\u0107e zgrade predstavljaju veliki\u00a0potencijal za smanjenje postoje\u0107e energije te \u010dinjenicu da postoji veliki broj zgrada koje nemaju ili\u00a0imaju minimalnu toplinsku za\u0161titu.<\/p>\n
ECO-SANDWICH sastoji se od dva sloja betona me\u0111usobno povezana re\u0161etkastim nosa\u010dima od\u00a0nehr\u0111aju\u0107eg \u010delika. Unutarnji nosivi sloj betona izra\u0111en je od recikliranog betonskog loma, dok je\u00a0vanjski fasadni sloj izra\u0111en od reciklirane opeke kao agregata u betonu. Kao toplinsko izolacijski\u00a0materijal koristi se mineralna vuna Ecose koju isporu\u010duje Knauf Insulation d.o.o., a u kojoj se kao\u00a0vezivo koriste prirodne smole. Posebnost panela je ta \u0161to se izme\u0111u sloja mineralne vune i vanjskog\u00a0sloja nalazi 4 cm debeo ventilacijski sloj zraka koji sprje\u010dava vla\u017eenje izolacijskog materijala. Unutarnji\u00a0sloj betona povezan je s nosivom konstrukcijom zgrade pomo\u0107u sustava priklju\u010dka od nehr\u0111aju\u0107eg\u00a0\u010delika.<\/p>\n
Paneli se u potpunosti proizvode u tvornicama u kontroliranim uvjetima \u010dime se posti\u017ee kvaliteta i\u00a0sigurnost proizvoda, a zahvaljuju\u0107i koeficijentu prolaska topline, u mogu\u0107nosti su posti\u0107i i najstro\u017ee\u00a0energetske standarde za brzu izgradnju niskoenergetskih i obnovu postoje\u0107ih zgrada. Sustav je prije\u00a0stavljanja na tr\u017ei\u0161te pro\u0161ao ispitivanja i dobio CE oznaku.\u00a0Najve\u0107i interes za panele pokazao je grad Koprivnica, nekoliko tvrtki iz Srbije i Crne Gore, a upiti sti\u017eu\u00a0i iz Francuske.<\/p>\n
Sustavu ECO-SANDWICH pripale su i brojne nagrade kao \u0161to su GREENOVATION za \u201eNajbolji tim\u00a0hrvatskog zelenog gospodarstva\u201c, zlatna medalja i nagrada INOVA za najbolju ekolo\u0161ku inovaciju\u00a02013. godine u Zagrebu te 2014. u Bruxellesu, \u010dime je inovacija prepoznata i na europskom tr\u017ei\u0161tu.<\/p>\n

Wegen des gro\u00dfen Potentials f\u00fcr Recycling und Wiederbenutzung wurde der Bauabfall seitens der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission als eines der Probleme mit L\u00f6sungspriorit\u00e4t erkannt. Das ECO-SANDWICH System entwickelte sich als Reaktion auf die modernen Bauprozesse, in welchen die vorhandenen Geb\u00e4ude ein gro\u00dfes Potential f\u00fcr die Verminderung von Energieverbrauch darstellen, und auf die Tatsache, dass es eine Vielzahl an Geb\u00e4uden gibt, welche \u00fcberhaupt keine oder nur eine minimale W\u00e4rmeisolation haben.<\/p>\n
ECO-SANDWICH besteht aus zwei Schichten von Beton, die mit Fachwerktr\u00e4gern aus rostfreiem Stahl verbunden sind. Die innere tragf\u00e4hige Schicht des Betons wurde aus rezykliertem Betonbruch, und die \u00e4u\u00dfere Fassadenschicht aus rezykliertem Ziegel als Aggregat im Beton gefertigt. Als W\u00e4rmeisolierungsstoff wird Ecose Mineralwolle verwendet, die von Knauf Insulation d.o.o. geliefert wird, und die die Naturharze als Bindemittel benutzt. Die Besonderheit der Paneele liegt darin, dass sich zwischen der Schicht der Mineralwolle und der \u00e4u\u00dferen Schicht eine 4-Zentimeter dicke Ventilationsschicht von Luft befindet, die die Anfeuchtung des Isolierstoffes verhindert. Die innere Betonschicht ist mit der tragf\u00e4higen Konstruktion der Geb\u00e4ude mit dem Anschlusssystem aus rostfreiem Stahl verbunden.<\/p>\n
Die Paneele werden komplett in den Werken in kontrollierten Bedingungen hergestellt, wodurch die Qualit\u00e4t und Sicherheit der Produkte erreicht wird, und dank dem W\u00e4rmedurchgangkoeffizienten, ist es dabei m\u00f6glich, sogar die strengsten Standards f\u00fcr den schnellen Bau von Niedrigenergiegeb\u00e4uden und Renovation von bestehenden Geb\u00e4uden zu erf\u00fcllen. Vor der Vermarktung ist das System Pr\u00fcfungen durchgekommen und hat die CE-Kennzeichnung erhalten.<\/p>\n
Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Interesse f\u00fcr die Paneele haben die Stadt Koprivnica und einige Unternehmen aus Serbien und Montenegro gezeigt, aber die Anfragen kommen sogar aus Frankreich.<\/p>\n
Dem System ECO-SANDWICH geh\u00f6ren auch zahlreiche Preise, wie GREENOVATION bei dem “Besten Team der kroatischen Gr\u00fcnwirtschaft”, die Goldmedaille und der Preis INOVA f\u00fcr die beste \u00f6kologische Neuerung im Jahr 2013 in Zagreb und im Jahr 2014 in Br\u00fcssel, wodurch die Neuerung auch auf dem Euromarkt erkannt wurde.<\/p>\n
