[:en]The Wonderland project is a result of two years of committed scientific and practical research at the Polytechnic of Me\u0111imurje. The value of this project, amounting to millions of euros, was recognised by the European Union, which supported it. The Wonderland Project is unique worldwide and we can say with certainty that it will change the world as we see it. <\/p>\n
Until now, people have had the option of buying special glasses which lead them into a 3D world, whether that of video games or films, but there was no option of moving around, since in that case, people would see other things apart from those that were real, for example, dinosaurs appearing in their room; however, at the same time, they could not tell whether they would trip on a stair which they were unable to see or knock against a piece of furniture. It was particularly inconceivable to walk the street with a device which leads one into a virtual 3D reality because of a high risk of injury. The Wonderland project is the first in the world which offers us the opportunity of taking part in a virtual world, while simultaneously, at any moment, being aware of our surroundings, which enables normal movement without fear of falling and hitting objects we are not aware of. <\/p>\n
This is achieved with the help of special positioning antennas. Currently, the only producer of these antennas for orientation in the world is the Locati company from Australia, which cooperates directly with NASA. The device works by connecting the laptop computer to a set of glasses onto which two USB cameras, a 3D sensor for determining the relative position and a small antenna for determining the absolute position are fitted. This enables the user to simultaneously see two realities, the real one, which surrounds him or her, and the virtual one, which is a result of programming and graphic design. For example, if a client orders the renovation of his home from an architect, he or she can put on special glasses and move through his or her house, seeing it as it will look like in the future. In this way, the client can decide on the spot whether he or she wants to make some changes.<\/p>\n
This will particularly revolutionise the world of tourism, where, until now, the clients had to rely on the photos they saw online, while, from now on, they will be able to take a walk through the city which they want to visit or the hotel in which they want to stay and choose their preferred destination from the comfort of their home.[:hr]Iza projekta \u201eWonderland\u201c stoje dvije godine ozbiljnog znanstvenog i prakti\u010dnog istra\u017eivanja na Me\u0111imurskom veleu\u010dili\u0161tu. Vrijednost tog milijunskog projekta prepoznala je i Europska unija koja ga je podr\u017eala. Projekt Wonderland jedinstven je u cijelom svijetu i sa sigurno\u0161\u0107u mo\u017eemo re\u0107i da \u0107e promijeniti svijet kakvim ga sada vidimo. <\/p>\n
Do sada je postojala mogu\u0107nost kupnje posebnih nao\u010dala koje nas uvode u 3D svijet, bilo da se radilo o igricama ili filmovima, no nije postojala mogu\u0107nost kretanja jer u tom slu\u010daju ljudi osim stvarnosti vide i druge stvari, primjerice dinosaure koji im se pojave u sobi, no pritom osoba ne zna ho\u0107e li se spotaknuti o stepenicu koju u tom trenutku ne vidi ili udariti o neki komad namje\u0161taja, a poglavito je bilo nezamislivo s takvim ure\u0111ajem, koji nas uvodi u virtualnu 3D stvarnost, hodati ulicom zbog velikog rizika od ozljeda. Upravo nam projekt Wonderland prvi u svijetu nudi tu mogu\u0107nost sudjelovanja u virtualnom svijetu, a da smo pritom, u svakom trenutku, svjesni okoline oko nas, \u0161to omogu\u0107uje normalno kretanje bez bojazni od padova i udaranja o predmete kojih nismo svjesni. <\/p>\n
To su uspjeli posti\u0107i uz pomo\u0107 posebnih antena za zemaljsko pozicioniranje. Trenutno je jedini proizvo\u0111a\u010d tih antena za orijentiranje na svijetu firma \u201eLocati\u201c iz Australije, koja direktno sura\u0111uje sa NASA-om. To sve funkcionira tako da je laptop spojen sa setom nao\u010dala na koje su montirane dvije USB kamere, 3D senzor za odre\u0111ivanje relativne pozicije i malena antena za odre\u0111ivanje apsolutne pozicije. To omogu\u0107ava osobi koja ih koristi da istodobno vidi dvije stvarnosti, onu pravu koja je okru\u017euje i onu virtualnu koja nastaje programiranjem i grafi\u010dkim dizajnom. Primjerice, ako kupac naru\u010di preure\u0111enje ku\u0107e od arhitekta, mo\u017ee staviti posebne nao\u010dale i kretati se kroz svoju ku\u0107u a da ju zapravo vidi onako kako \u0107e ona tek izgledati. Tako kupac na licu mjesta mo\u017ee odlu\u010diti \u017eeli li ne\u0161to promijeniti.<\/p>\n
To \u0107e pogotovo donijeti revoluciju u svijetu turizma, gdje su do sada kupci morali vjerovati slikama koje vide preko interneta, dok \u0107e se od sada mo\u0107i pro\u0161etati po gradu koji \u017eele posjetiti ili hotelu u kojem \u017eele odsjesti i iz udobnosti svoga doma odlu\u010diti koja im se destinacija najvi\u0161e svi\u0111a.[:de]Hinter dem Projekt “Wonderland” stehen zwei Jahre ernsthafter wissenschaftlicher und praktischer Forschung an der Me\u0111imurje Fachhochschule. Bisher gab es die M\u00f6glichkeit, die speziellen Brillen zu kaufen, die uns in eine 3D-Welt einf\u00fchren, gew\u00f6hnlich im Zusammenhang mit Videospielen oder Filmen, aber es gab keine M\u00f6glichkeit der Bewegung, denn in diesem Fall die Leute au\u00dfer der Wirklichkeit auch andere Dinge sehen, z. B. ein Dinosaurier erscheint im Zimmer, aber in diesem Zeitpunkt ist die Person nicht dessen bewusst, ob sie \u00fcber eine Stufe stolpern oder gegen einen M\u00f6belst\u00fcck sto\u00dfen wird, die oder den sie in diesem Zeitpunkt nicht sieht, und insbesondere war es mit einem solchen Ger\u00e4t, das uns in die virtuelle 3D-Wirklichkeit einf\u00fchrt, unvorstellbar, wegen eines gro\u00dfen Risikos von Verletzungen, auf der Stra\u00dfe zu gehen. Das Projekt Wonderland bietet, als erstes in der Welt, genau diese M\u00f6glichkeit, es bietet die M\u00f6glichkeit, in der virtuellen Welt teilzunehmen, aber zu jeder Zeit unserer Umgebung bewusst zu sein, was uns normale Bewegung ohne Angst vor dem St\u00fcrzen und vor dem Sto\u00dfen gegen die Gegenst\u00e4nde erm\u00f6glicht, deren wir nicht bewusst sind.<\/p>\n
Dies gelang ihnen mit Hilfe der speziellen Antennen f\u00fcr die terrestrische Positionierung. Im Moment ist die einzige Firma in der Welt, die diese Positionsbestimmungsantennen herstellt, die Firma “Locati” aus Australien, die direkt mit der NASA zusammenarbeitet. Alles funktioniert so: ein Laptop wird mit dem Brillensatz verbunden, auf welchem zwei USB-Kameras, ein 3D-Sensor f\u00fcr die Bestimmung der relativen Position und eine kleine Antenne f\u00fcr die Bestimmung der absoluten Position montiert sind. Der Person, die den Satz benutzt, erm\u00f6glicht er, gleichzeitig zwei Wirklichkeiten zu sehen, eine echte, die sie umgibt, und die andere virtuelle, die durch Programmierung und das graphische Design entsteht.
