She combined knowledge about biology with idea about software program for a personalized program of diet, gymnastics, and prevention of serious diseases, all based on body type and body shape of the individual. It is a globally recognized innovation for which innovator already won 23 international and national awards. Anita Bušić was proclaimed as start up entrepreneur of the year and she is listed among the 50 most influential women in the world of ICT technology.
BodyRecog digitally measures the body with the help of the smartphone camera or 3D camera, from which can be find out whether we with our lifestyle and excessive kilograms brought our life in danger of some cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or cancer. After two minute scanning of the body, follows report on more than 70 pages about the condition of our body. It is a whole analysis that can facilitate doctors job, sports coaches, experts in fitness centers, nutritionists. The application will be on the market 2017., and it will be on payment. The current application is not final, it will be updated and adjusted to specific interest groups. It is not intended for pregnant women, children, people of dwarfism and extremely fat.
Behind this successful entrepreneur is an interesting life story. She is born in Sarajevo, part of her life she spent in Pakistan, where she attended the American School in Islamabad together with her brother, in 1980. she returned to Zagreb where she graduated at Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her work experience is rich, from worker in the German printing company, to the laboratory for the food control in Switzerland. In Zagreb she worked at the Institute for Anthropology, as a teacher in gymnasiums, she organized a various events (World Race of peace in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina), and she worked as a product manager for medical products in Zepter.
The turning point has occurred after three years of unemployment when Bušić intensive was inventing a project that will bring profit. She decided to develop own application that can not be easily copied and has to be something that people will use. The company was founded in America, where the sale and marketing takes place while the Croatian team of experts is engaged in research and development. She has seven employees, four technological partners and investors from Switzerland.

Iskombinirala je znanje o biologiji s idejom o software programu za personalizirani program prehrane, tjelovježbe, te prevencije teških bolesti i to sve na temelju tjelesnog tipa i oblika tijela pojedinca. Radi se o globalno priznatoj inovaciji za koju je inovatorica već osvojila 23 međunarodne i nacionalne nagrade. Anita Bušić proglašena je i start up poduzetnicom godine te uvrštena među 50 najutjecajnijih žena u svijetu ICT tehnologije.
BodyRecog digitalno mjeri tijelo uz pomoć kamere pametnog telefona ili 3D kamere, iz čega se može doznati jesmo li načinom život i prekomjernim kilogramima doveli svoj život u opasnost od neke krvožilne bolesti, dijabetesa ili karcinoma. Nakon dvominutnog skeniranja tijela, slijedi izvješće na više od 70 stranica o stanju našeg organizma. Radi se o cjelovitoj analizi koja može olakšati posao liječnicima, sportskim trenerima, stručnjacima u fitness centrima, nutricionistima. Aplikacija će biti na tržištu 2017. godine, kada će se početi naplaćivati. Sadašnja aplikacija nije konačna verzija, već će se nadograđivati i prilagođavati specifičnim interesnim skupinama. Nije namijenjena trudnicama, djeci, ljudima patuljastog rasta niti ekstremno pretilima.
Iza ove uspješne poduzetnice krije se zanimljiva životna priča. Rodom iz Sarajeva, dio života provela je u Pakistanu, gdje je s bratom išla u američku školu u Islamabadu i 1980. se vratila u Zagreb gdje je diplomirala na Prirodoslovno-matematičkom fakultetu. Radno iskustvo joj je bogato, od radnice u njemačkoj tiskari, do laboratorija za kontrolu hrane u Švicarskoj. U Zagrebu je radila na Institutu za antropologiju, kao profesor u gimnazijama, organizirala razne događaje (Svjetska utrka mira u Hrvatskoj i BiH), te radila kao produkt manager za medicinske proizvode u Zepteru.
No, prekretnica se dogodila nakon tri godine nezaposlenosti kada je Bušić intenzivno smišljala projekt koji će joj donijeti zaradu. Odlučila je razviti vlastitu aplikaciju koja se ne smije moći lako kopirati i mora biti nešto što će ljudima koristiti. Tvrtku je osnovala u Americi, gdje se odvija prodaja i marketing dok se u Hrvatskoj tim stručnjaka bavi istraživanjem i razvojem. Ima sedam zaposlenih te četiri tehnološka partnera i ulagača iz Švicarske.
