The three year European project Smart Inno in which among the 18 partners from seven countries participated IDA and the Pula University has finished. At the conference 90 scientists has exhibiting their works, and the focus was on social entrepreneurship and social innovation. Prominent members of the international scientific community were the main speakers, and it is issued a monograph with 34 scientific works. Provincia di Rimini is the holder of the project, within the project the University received 176000 euros and IDA 230000 euros. This money is directed in the establishment of the Centre for innovation and popularization of the Istrian County. In the center 1,400 students were trained last year, and the purpose is to stimulate interest in the natural and technical sciences among young people and to motivate innovation. In the courtyard of the Centre 20 interactive devices will be set up for children. This project, worth 150,000 euros was nominated for the EU funds. Different workshops were presented, an expert associate of IDA Alek Dragojević, presented Smart Inno platform that informs users about current training and business development.
