[:en]Croatia supports innovations and society based on knowledge. Concrete ways of supporting knowledge and innovations (of public policies to everyday applications) can be seen in the second project of technology development (STP2). This project is realized with the support of the World Bank, and grants and loans is managed by the Croatian Agency for small business, innovations and investments HAMAG BICRO that is also financed through the project STP2. The agency facilitates access to financial resources and provides support to entrepreneurs of research and product development through to commercialization. Some of the successful projects of HAMAG BICRO are concepts such as components for installation in electric cars, converting images into text characters or testing dried blood stains to assess biological age of people.
Microblink is the company for research and development whose task is to simplify the daily life of various mobile applications that eliminate the need for manual data entry. They are used by recognizing text in real time on the handheld devices for reading ID cards, payment slips, invoices, IBAN. Two years ago, they completed the project, that financed agency with 35,000 euros whereby they have developed a functional prototype optical character recognition system for mobile devices. Their technology is installed in the applications of all commercial banks in Croatia. This project shows that financing of crucial step in the development of the product prior to its introduction to the market affects on the creation of applicable technology in many sectors.
With this project is encouraged the demand for EU funds in the business and scientific circles, small and medium entrepreneurs and successful scientists.
[:hr]Hrvatska podupire inovacije i društvo temeljeno na znanju. Konkretni načini podupiranja znanja i inovacija (od javnih politika do svakodnevnih primjena) može se vidjeti u drugom projektu tehnologijskog razvoja (STP2). Ovaj se projekt ostvaruje uz potporu Svjetske banke, a bespovratnim sredstvima i zajmovima upravlja Hrvatska agencija za malo gospodarstvo, inovacije i investicije HAMAG-BICRO koja se također financira kroz projekt STP2. Agencija olakšava pristup financijskim sredstvima i pruža potporu poduzetnicima od istraživanja i razvoja proizvoda pa sve do komercijalizacije. Neki od uspješnih projekata HAMAG-BICRO-a su koncepti poput komponenti za ugradnju u električne automobile, pretvaranje slika u tekstualne znakove ili ispitivanje osušenih mrlja krvi radi procjene biološke starosti ljudi.
Microblink je tvrtka za istraživanje i razvoj čija je zadaća pojednostavniti svakodnevni život raznim mobilnim aplikacijama koje otklanjaju potrebu za ručnim unosom podataka. Koriste se prepoznavanjem teksta u stvarnom vremenu na ručnim uređajima za očitavanje osobnih iskaznica, uplatnica, računa, IBAN-a. Prije dvije godine dovršili su projekt kojeg je agencija financirala s 35000 eura pri čemu su razvili funkcionalni prototip sustava optičkog prepoznavanja znakova za mobilne uređaje. Njihova se tehnologija ugrađuje u aplikacije svih poslovnih banaka u Hrvatskoj. Ovaj projekt pokazuje kako financiranje ključnog koraka u razvoju proizvoda prije njegovog uvođenja na tržište utječe na stvaranje primjenjive tehnologije u mnogim sektorima.
Ovim se projektom potiče i potražnja za sredstvima EU-a u poslovnim i znanstvenim krugovima, malim i srednjim poduzetnicima te uspješnim znanstvenicima.
[:de]Kroatien unterstützt Innovationen und die Gesellschaft auf der Grundlage von Wissen. Konkrete Möglichkeiten der Förderung der Wissen und Innovationen (der öffentlichen Politik zu alltäglichen Anwendungen) im zweiten Projekt der Technologieentwicklung (STP2) man kann sehen. Dieses Projekt wird mit Unterstützung der Weltbank realisiert und von der kroatischen Agentur für Kleinunternehmen, Innovationen und Investitionen HAMAG BICRO verwaltet, die auch über das Projekt STP2 finanziert wird. Die Agentur erleichtert den Zugang zu finanziellen Ressourcen und unterstützt Unternehmer der Forschung und Produktentwicklung bis hin zur Kommerzialisierung. Einige der erfolgreichen Projekte von HAMAG BICRO sind Konzepte wie Komponenten für den Einbau in Elektroautos, die Umwandlung von Bildern in Textzeichen oder das Testen von getrockneten Blutflecken, um das biologische Alter der Menschen zu bestimmen.
Microblink ist das Unternehmen für den Forschung und Entwicklung, dessen Aufgabe es ist, den Alltag von verschiedenen mobilen Anwendungen zu vereinfachen, die die Notwendigkeit für die manuelle Dateneingabe zu eliminieren. Sie werden durch die Erkennung der Text in Echtzeit auf den Handheld-Geräten zum Auslesen von ID-Karten, Zahlungsanweisungen, Rechnungen, IBAN verwendet. Mit diesem Projekt wird die Nachfrage nach EU-Mitteln in den Bereichen Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft, kleine und mittlere Unternehmer und erfolgreiche Wissenschaftler gefördert.[:]
