First “Blue and green” fair of healthy nutrition, medicinal herbs and green entrepreneurship

From friday to sunday first “Blue and green” fair of healthy nutrition, medicinal herbs and green entrepreneurship will be held in Hotel Medena in Seget Donji (near the City of Trogir). The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, 12th February, starting at 14:00 hours and afterwards you can enjoy the presentation on the subject of “smart agriculture” and use of new technologies in agriculture – starting at 18:00 hours.

First “Blue – green” fair opened in hotel Medena!

Today at Hotel Medena officially opened the first in a series of “blue-green” fairs of healthy food, medicinal herbs and green entrepreneurship.
The fair was opened by Mr. Miljenko Vuckovic, representative of the Zagreb County, which is also the coordinator of OPG’s of Lag Save and Trogir mayor,  g. Ante Stipčić.

Mr. Vuckovic at the opening emphasized that this is a big step forward and that the aim of this project is to connect “the green and blue” of Croatia. He hopes that other manufacturers from other parts of the Croatia will have the opportunity to display their products on the Adriatic.  The invitation was also accepted by the deputy mayor of the city of Trogir, Mr. Radovan Slade-Šilović.

All of them stressed the importance of the having a chance to introduce organic products, which are of such significance, especially in the present time due to the accelerated lifestyle and it is necessary to pay attention to a healthy diet. It was agreed that the producers of the coastal area ​​can expose their products  in Sveta Nedjelja and continental Croatia. They hope that from now on, in succession, producers from other Croatian counties will present themselves at Medena and domicile of the town of Trogir,  Kaštela and the surrounding areas.

With a wide range of agricultural products, visitors had the opportunity to try out many eco products and specialties like product of chokeberry, honey, dairy products, wines, natural juices and other food products as well as cosmetic herbs, spices, homemade soaps and the like.
