The expert groupof the most successful innovators will advise the European Commission in the framework of European programs intended for innovation and research. The aim is to provide better support to entrepreneurs in opening new markets. Members of the group and the European Innovation Council consists of high caliber innovators from different fields that will assist the commission in designing new approachfor innovation support. Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovations, Carlos Moedas pointed out that with this initiative complement other Commission actions that innovators encourages to remain in Europe and develop its own action.
The first meeting of the Group is scheduled in March, and will be based on the results of the Call for delivery of ideas conducted in 2016. and will be connected with the work of the High Level Group for maximizing the effect of EU programs for research and innovation.
