Transparent liquid shroud with the capacity of collecting solar energy produced the company SolarWindow, and thus became known, with the same feature now has produced flexible glass. This technology could soon be incorporated into construction projects around the world, and the buildings would become more energy efficient. During testing, the scientists added layers of liquid shrouds on Corning Willow Glass, and then exposed conditions that simulated the high pressure and temperature, the result is a glass “sticker” that has the ability of collecting solar energy. Using this innovation significantly would  be reduced electricity bills. This glass could be used on other surfaces, such as cars, airplanes, ships and similar. Fifty times more energy could generate this technology on buildings, and installation on a skyscraper of 50 floors would be paid back in less than one year.
