The creative duo Miklošić and Šušanj presented the innovative technology which won the American and Croatian market. Dealing with print on T-shirts Saša Miklošić saw numerous disadvantages of existing technology and created a new, calling it Nanodiy. This is a product that allows cheap, high-quality and fast print on textiles and with his business partner Zoran Šušanj started business.
It took three years of development to design durable print on textiles. Nanodiy has become a brand, product name and technology that with price and technically enables quality and fast print on textiles. The product comes in three components – color stabilizer and paper. With an ordinary office printer and manual heat press, everyone can at own home print shirts what ever wants.
The starting package costs 200 euros, office printer around 100, thermo press around 200 euros, or with 500 euros of the initial investment it is possible to start own business. The specificity of the product is the simplicity and low investment.
Innovation recently in Varaždin on VOOGLE conference won the award as the best start-up of the year, at the fair Grafima Belgrade won the award for the best print on textiles among strong competition such as Canon, Epson and Kornit.
Operations are planning to switch from the company Apel and Printeraj to a new company Nanodiy to allow easier access to potential investors and prepare for the US market.Even 94% of goods were exported to the markets of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Italy and Portugal. Of course, in our country printing shops accepted also Nanodiy technology.
In Koprivnica there is no printing shop that did not introduce it, and abroad Nanodiy became known also in match print in the fashion industry.
Yearly income of Nanodiy is around 100 000 euros, although it is five times cheaper than existing technology.
Tim Miklošić-Sušanj develops new products and technological improvements, and their customers and visitors are planning to introduce new solutions at various fairs. The essence of their innovation is the formula of color and inprint stabilizer so they can use the spare capacity of the drive of their competitors in Europe. Products in Croatia creates added value – the product repackage, mark the brand and export.
The team is currently working in areas of Business Incubator in Koprivnica, as they prefer because of the exchange of experiences, contacts, easier and faster making deals. So far they are not planning to move production outside the Croatia although they had such offers. Currently, in phase are negotiations with investors, and the guys are hoping soon to get a business partner who would with his knowledge, experience and capital contribute to faster growth of technology Nanodiy.
