At the International Exhibition ARCA 2016., that took place in October in Zagreb, among numerous innovations and strong competition from the country and abroad, one gold medal was awarded to the director of the company POWER PLANTS – HEATING PLANTS Zagreb. Mr.sc. Kresimir Komljenović won a gold medal for his innovation “Pipe construction for measuring the flow of liquids.” In fact it is unusual that innovation comes from the state sector, in Croatia it should be more.

This innovation of Krešimir Komljenović already was awarded in 2015. with a gold medal at Innova in Brussels, then for the project of realization of rational energy use, Hrvoje Požar received a prize, while in 2016. it was awarded with silver medal at the 44th Innovation Exhibition in Geneva. Gold medal for this innovation has not escaped him even at the International Innovation Exhibition IENA 2016. which was held in Nuremberg. The essence of this innovation is the possibility of measuring the flow of waste water with classic measurement of the flow of small diameter. At ARCA are presented trends about the creation of innovative products, services and technologies. Innovations are already protected, or in the process of intellectual property protection. At the fair was held a forum Innovations initiator of development, and various workshops such as With the play to innovation, Innovations through fun, Day of innovative ideas for young people, young innovators and primary school pupils.
Partner of this year’s exhibition was the China Association of innovators, under the auspices of the president of Croatian, the Ministry of Business and Trade, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
