The international Exhibition of Innovations ARCA already 14 years allows to high school pupils and students to present their innovations at the fair. This year, at ARCA participated 180 innovators and organizer pointed out that connection of economic subjects with the academic community, and the use of scientific and research infrastructure strengthens the competitiveness of our economy. Promotion of innovations contributes significantly to the development of innovation culture in companies and animate employees for creative thinking and creation of new innovations.

Significant results have achieved pupils from Technical school Požega. The gold medal went to Matko Pavičić for his innovation Solarinator. Solarinator is a device for directing solar panels to the best light source, and consists of three solar panels of 20 watts, the electric motor and the gear, system for the regulation and battery storage of electricity that produce. Using sensors the solarinator determines the best position, the plates are moving using two electric motors, and the solarinator allows that panels are facing to the sun at any time of the day. For smaller holiday homes this device is ideal. The power of this model is sufficient for several luminaires or smaller devices. To increase the power there is a possibility of installing larger plate.

Silver medal and prize of the association “Tesla – Genius for the Future” won Zlatko Dražić with innovation G-Runner Smart Bike. The aim is to improve the current electric bikes. Engine power is a 3 kW, provides additional services such as Wi-Fi, GPS, voice commands, application that protects from stealing. Using modes ensures the ride whatever you want.

Marko Brnčić won a bronze medal for Timelapse RIG that is used for recording Timelapse video, the camera takes photographs one photo in the interval from few seconds, and of these photos creates accelerated video. The device allows precise rotation of the camera in order to create the panning shot, uses a stepper of electric motors, and is programmed on Arduino console with additional buttons and LCD screen.
