68th International Fair of innovations IENA 2016. took place from 27th to 30th of October in Nünberg. In the competition of 700 innovations from 28 countries, Croatian innovators won eight medals. Croatian Association of Innovators presented the 8 innovations, and focus of the fair was on household products, products and systems of safety, technological development and practical applications.
Gold medals won Marko Miroslav Bače for the innovation System for passenger control in extraordinary transport, Antonio Debeljak for Security lock, Sunčica Kajganić and Boris Marić for Smart bag Zonne, Krešimir Komljenović for Pipe construction for measurement of the liquid flow, Ivana and Robert Legović for Aqua Lift Thermal cream. The silver medal went to Ivana Palčić for the innovation RE-STEP, while the bronze medals won Dominik Sremić for Electric scooter, Antonio and Pavle Potočki for Mini Electronic box.
The Assembly of the International Federation of National Associations of innovators was held at the fair where Zoran Barisic, the representative of UIH was re-elected as a member of the Executive Board, and this year he was a member of the jury.
