The Japanese Ministry has recently sent an interesting invitation their cities – for the candidacy of robotic Olympiad that will be held in that country after the “real” Olympiad.

The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visiting the robotized factory in Saitama and Tokijum pointed the importance of robotics in the economic strategy of Japan and announced further steps to encourage its increased development.

Robotic Olympiad will gather all the world robots that should compete in the technical discipline and it is an excellent opportunity for showing progress of robotics in Japan and the rest of the world.

Although Japan leads on global technology and innovator scene, Bristol in the UK had taken them away the primate in organization of robotic Olympiad, where the first robotic Olympiad took place in  2012.

Among the robots that competed in various disciplines (basketball, running, football, weight lifting) stand out Usain Voltwho who for only  31 seconds passed 3 meters back and forth.
