The Lega One Rover is powered by four electromotors, each located in one wheel, while the energy reservoir is a battery with a capacity of 12Ah, providing four hours of autonomous driving. The vehicle is also equipped with a camera which streams live content in a Web browser. It is also unique because it has a built-in small computer which analyses data and enables their management through a Web browser. The machine can be controlled through a Wi-Fi with a range of several hundred meters, as well as through mobile Internet from any part of the world. The Lega One Rover is mostly built from ABS plastic and a smaller part of it is built from aluminium and Plexiglas. The students plan to offer their prototype of a soil investigation vehicle to NASA.
